Travara Farmer is a native of Wilson, NC. However in 2004 she moved to Washington, DC to pursue a degree in Theatre Arts at Howard University. In May 2008 she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts' degree. In addition, she has studied Acting with TVI Studios in London and at North Carolina School of the Arts. At the age of 13 Travara had her first shot at acting in a middle school production entitled Gold Mine where she starred as Pete, a little boy with dreams of being a famous baseball player. Since her first show Travara has been blessed to be successful in what she loves; acting. She believes acting is a ministry and wishes to secure a career in not only acting but producing theatre and film productions that entertain and bring souls to Christ. Her recent works include Laurie in NO ESCAPE!, an independent film which she self-produced, Elizabeth in The Art of Self-Defense with Zoon Vader Productions at The Atlas Theatre in Washington DC, and Jasmine in the sold out touring show Conversations About HER with Tim O. Productions.
