On November 21, 1974, Douglas Farley was born in Washington D.C. At age 7, Douglas performed an opening act with friend Stacy Lattisaw in concert, and at that moment he knew he wanted to be an entertainer. After high school he wanted to pursue his dream as a rapper, which he worked with major recording artist and producers such as Mass Order, Rich Nice of 1up Entertainment, Barrio Boys, and Elements of Life.
Winning rap competitions and getting spins on Washington D.C.’s radio stations, he developed an underground buzz. Almost landing a major recording deal in 2000, a tragedy happened that hospitalized him for three months. After he recovered in 2001 he began his acting career.
Douglas appeared as a gambler in the 1998 film “Streetwise” along with Sid Burston and Taraji P. Henson, “Misunderstandings” as Brandon, HBO’s “THE WIRE” as a School Photographer (1 episode, Final Series) and “Cashing Out”. The proud parent continues to study his craft and keeps striving for bigger and better things. |
