Cathlene Bell has been involved in acting since the age of twelve. She invested her time in community theatre in her hometown of Clifton, NJ for 7 years in varying responsibilities, such as acting, singing, dance, spoken word, props, costumes, sets, writing scripts, and directing. But her performing arts experience was taken to a very different level upon starting volunteer work with the Washington AIDS International Teens (WAIT), which uses performing arts to educate and empower young people in the fight against HIV/AIDS. She has worked with the group on the local, national and international scale, and credits these experiences as a cornerstone of her development, both as a performer and as a person.
At present, Cathlene is a sophomore at Felician College, double majoring in Communications and International Studies. She continues to enjoy her involvement in the performing arts world, in both performance and production. She is very grateful for the precious opportunity she had in Cashing Out to contribute in leaving a mark on the collective human soul. |
