Annika Betancourt has been acting and singing since a young age of 6. She played in Fiddler on the Roof, the Music Man, and Grease in elementary and middle schools, and held one of the lead roles in her high schools production of "Help, I'm trapped in a High School". As a vocalist, she has participated and held solos in various choirs from childhood to high school and has been ranked in the P.G. County and the state of Maryland. A recent graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, where she earned her B.A. in Government and Politics and Latin American Studies, Annika assumes theater as more of a hobby but looks forward to future projects with LightSmith Productions. Annika comes from a big, international (Colombian and Japanese) family and enjoys spending time with her family and her husband Josh, as well as singing and traveling in her free time. |
